I.

There are four stages of learning that Henry Wong mention in the first chapter. These are: Fantasy, Survival, Mastery, Impact. Fantasy is the stage where teachers are newbie or beginner in the teaching profession. In this stage, the teacher is aiming for the perfection as he or she will going the teach. Survival is the stage wherein the teacher can already identify the wants and needs of the students, because the teacher knows already their students background and personality. In the Mastery Stage, the teacher takes already his or her duties and responsibilities to their students. This stage, the teacher shows on how professional he or she is to their students. Last but not the least is the Impact Stage, from the word itself impact. The teacher became the source of change to the students, because of the impact on how the teacher teach. The teacher becomes effective to their students as the teacher teach.

II.

Henry Wong said that, “I believe that every teacher can be effective”. I truly believe on what Henry Wong said. As a teacher, doing right things especially in teaching profession is effective like being a role model to our students and helping them to their needs and wants in terms of educating them. As a future teacher, I will share my knowledge and on what I’ve learned to my teachers to my future students. I will help them in building their better future by doing my obligation as a teacher.

III.

Henry Wong said also that, “The effective teacher affects lives”. I believe in that, because if the teacher is effective there is a significant change to the student. As future teacher, we must affect and touch the heart of our students by changing the bad to good and the worst to better. For me, the best teacher is committed to his and her students. By teaching the students important life lessons and being responsible to the students in helping them to succeed in education.

IV.

I will share on what I have learned and watch to the seminar to my co-teacher as I am already teaching. The seminar will help them on how to be an effective teacher to the students. The seminar that I’ve watched will also help them on how to handle students with different differences. I will also motivate and inspire my co-teacher to be an effective teacher to our students.

V.

The most important that I can adopt in the seminar is to be an effective teacher by affecting lives of my students and doing right things. A great teacher makes learning fun by keeping the students motivated and inspired. Inspiring and motivating students is so important, because we ensure their success and encourage them to fulfill their potential. Mostly students who are inspired and motivated are the one who can accomplish things. That is the way on how I will be an effective teacher to my students by affecting their lives and doing right things.

VI.

The problem from the seminar that I’ve watched is, the slides are moving so fast to the next slide that makes me difficult to read on what was written in the slide, especially in the beginning of the seminar. It is just a technical problem and I didn’t encounter any problem in the seminar in terms of contents and deliberation, because the seminar will help on how to be an effective teacher in the near future.
